Manor Infant school opened its nursery in September 2016 and provides high quality care and education to families in the surrounding area of Buckland.  Manor Infant nursery is led by the governing board, headteacher and senior leadership of the school. The nursery is based in it's own area for the 2-3 year old The building has an outdoor play area which enables the children to free flow between in and out of doors in all weathers. The nursery also has a separate kitchen area, toilets and changing facilities. Our preschool for our 3-4 year olds is based in one of the classrooms in the school and they share the outside area with the Year R children

Manor nursery and pre-school are based on quality care and learning from the ages of 2 to 4 years.  At Manor, the experienced, qualified practitioners ensure that not only the children’s basic needs are met, but that each child goes home at the end of the day having had an exciting, stimulating and most of all happy day!

Our nursery sessions are 8.30-11.30 or 12.10-3.15. A full day session is from 8.30-3.15

The pre-school sessions are 8.30 to 11.30 and 12.10 to 3.10. A full day session is from 8.30-3.10

Lunch is not included in the funded hours and is a charge of £4 for the session and you need to provide a packed lunch for your child. 

Manor nursery and pre-school thrive on building strong relationships with families that use the setting as well as the school. We consistently strive to build genuine, trusting relationships with parents/carers and work alongside each family on an individual basis to ensure that nursery and pre-school are a positive experience for everybody!

We acknowledge that leaving your child will probably be a difficult experience. Our nursery and pre-school have a routine yet flexible approach to settling in to ensure that transitions are as smooth as possible, including offering a home visit and stay and play sessions.
